Common use of Terminal Vacation Requests Clause in Contracts

Terminal Vacation Requests. Requests for pay in lieu of vacation will not be approved except in the event of termination. Employees who have completed one year or more of service and have provided and worked the required two (2) week notice (Article 15.4) will receive their vacation pay upon termination on a pro rata basis. Employees may not take vacation as part of the notice of the termination period.
