Text Messaging or Calls. If University elects to use Lyft Pass and, to the extent University provides Lyft with any phone numbers of Riders in conjunction with Lyft providing the Services, University will have obtained all rights, permissions, and consents necessary under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”) and any other applicable federal, state and local laws, rules or regulations for University and/or Lyft to use an automatic telephone dialing system to call, text or otherwise contact the recipient associated with the phone number provided by University (whether a University Rider or otherwise) including via SMS message or voice call, in relation to a Ride taken by a University Rider, and/or University’s use of the Lyft Platform Services. University acknowledges and agrees that by providing an individual’s phone number via the Lyft Platform, such individual shall receive automated communications, including but not limited to SMS messages or phone calls providing details related to a Ride. University further acknowledges and agrees it will not send DocuSign Envelope ID: E6687BFA-FCFC-4A72-8D2F-411B13879F98 personally identifiable information or other sensitive information in relation to the content of SMS messages and calls made by University through the Lyft Platform Services.

  • TEXT MESSAGING WHILE DRIVING In accordance with Executive Order (EO) 13513, “Federal Leadership on Reducing Text Messaging While Driving,” any and all text messaging by Federal employees is banned: a) while driving a Government owned vehicle (GOV) or driving a privately owned vehicle (POV) while on official Government business; or b) using any electronic equipment supplied by the Government when driving any vehicle at any time. All cooperators, their employees, volunteers, and contractors are encouraged to adopt and enforce policies that ban text messaging when driving company owned, leased or rented vehicles, POVs or GOVs when driving while on official Government business or when performing any work for or on behalf of the Government.

  • Reducing Text Messaging While Driving Pursuant to Executive Order 13513, 74 FR 51225 (Oct. 6, 2009), Recipient should encourage its employees, subrecipients, and contractors to adopt and enforce policies that ban text messaging while driving, and Recipient should establish workplace safety policies to decrease accidents caused by distracted drivers.

Rated Incollects will be intermingled with BellSouth recorded rated and unrated usage. Rated Incollects will not be packed separately. 6.1.3 BellSouth will perform duplicate record checks on records processed to ODUF. Any duplicate messages detected will be deleted and not sent to Quality Telephone. 6.1.4 In the event that Quality Telephone detects a duplicate on ODUF they receive from BellSouth, Quality Telephone will drop the duplicate message and will not return the duplicate to BellSouth).

  • Usage for Voice Mail Message Service Rated Incollects (originated in BellSouth and from other companies) can also be on Optional Daily Usage File. Rated Incollects will be intermingled with BellSouth recorded rated and unrated usage. Rated Incollects will not be packed separately.

  • Internet Warnings If the Settling Entity offers for sale any of the Products to California consumers through websites such as xxxxxx.xxx that are not reformulated as set forth in subsection 2.2 above, it shall ensure that the required warning (with the language set forth in subsection 2.3 above) is prominently displayed to the purchaser prior to completion of the transaction without requiring the potential buyer to use considerable effort to be made aware of the health hazard advisory. The warning (or a clearly marked hyperlink to the warning using the word “WARNING”) given in conjunction with the online sale of the Products may appear either: (a) prominently placed on a webpage in which the Product’s photograph, price, or “add to cart” section are displayed; (b) on the same webpage as the order form for the Product; or (c) on any webpage displayed to the purchaser during the checkout process and prior to its completion for any purchaser with a California shipping address. The symbol “” may be placed adjacent to the signal word. The internet warning may use the Short-Form Warning content described in subsection 2.3(b). The URL "xxx.X00Xxxxxxxx.xx.xxx" in the Warning may be substituted with an equivalent reference to the official "Proposition 65 Warnings Website."

  • Electronic Media 10.5.1 Where this Agreement or referenced provisions in the Contract Documents require the Project Consultant to provide information or documents in either electronic or magnetic media, the preparation and format of that media shall conform to the Owner's Electronic Media Submittal Requirements (Attachment 3 to this Agreement).

  • Telework Members are eligible for teleworking during the professional work days designated for grading and reporting at the end of the first, second and third grading periods, and on the day of the Maryland State Education Association Convention if that day is a duty day for teachers. a. The principal will determine which positions, if any may need to be on site for all or part of the day to support other professionals in the building or to fulfill their professional responsibilities. b. With the approval of the Principal, school-based educators who have demonstrated the ability to meet their professional responsibilities, including grade submission according to Board policy may telework on the professional work day at the end of each of the first three marking periods. c. First year teachers will be required to work on site for the first two marking periods on these days. d. Upon request a written rationale will be provided by the supervisor to any educator whose request to telework is denied. e. Items a-d above do not apply to the MSEA Convention Day.

  • Telephonic Meetings Directors may participate in and hold a meeting of the Directors by means of conference telephone or similar communications equipment by means of which all Directors participating in the meeting can hear each other. Participation in a meeting pursuant to this Section shall constitute presence in person at such meeting, except where a Director participates in the meeting for the express purpose of objecting to the transaction of any business on the ground that the meeting is not lawfully called or convened.
