The CCRCD Regional Assurance Committee. The Regional Cabinet will establish a Regional Assurance Committee to provide an independent scrutiny function to ensure greater public accountability over decisions made by the Regional Cabinet and any of its sub-committees and related entities. The role of the Assurance Committee is to provide advice, challenge and support to the Regional Cabinet. The detail, functioning and membership of the Assurance Committee will be included in the Joint Working Agreement and will be such that they do not conflict with the role and responsibilities of the Accountable Body. The Assurance Committee will be required to:  review and scrutinise the Regional Cabinet’s financial affairs;  receiving the Regional Cabinet’s accounts and advising on their approval;  review and assess the Regional Cabinet’s risk management, internal control and corporate governance arrangements;  review and assess the economy, efficiency and effectiveness with which resources have been used in relation to the Wider Investment Fund; and  make reports and recommendations to the Regional Cabinet in relation to the above points.

  • CENTRAL LABOUR RELATIONS COMMITTEE C4.1 OPSBA, the Crown and OSSTF agree to establish a joint Central Labour Relations Committee to promote and facilitate communication between rounds of bargaining on issues of joint interest.

  • Labour Relations Committee (a) The parties agree that the purpose of the Labour Relations Committee is to discuss, and, if possible, resolve, any matters of interest to the parties. To this end, the parties shall meet to exchange information and may hold discussions in an attempt to solve any problem related to working conditions.

  • Insurance Committee An Insurance Committee comprised of three (3) representatives selected by the Superintendent and three (3) representatives selected by Okeechobee County Education Association #1604 shall be established to review and make recommendations regarding the health insurance program. The Committee shall meet at least quarterly and may meet more frequently as needed. Notwithstanding the above, any anticipated changes to the hospitalization and health insurance program which would result in a program less than equivalent to the existing program shall be subject to negotiations.

  • COMPLIANCE COMMITTEE (1) Within thirty (30) days of the date of this Agreement, the Board shall appoint a Compliance Committee of at least three (3) directors, of which no more than one (1) shall be an employee or controlling shareholder of the Bank or any of its affiliates (as the term “affiliate” is defined in 12 U.S.C. § 371c(b)(1)), or a family member of any such person. Upon appointment, the names of the members of the Compliance Committee and, in the event of a change of the membership, the name of any new member shall be submitted in writing to the Assistant Deputy Comptroller. The Compliance Committee shall be responsible for monitoring and coordinating the Bank's adherence to the provisions of this Agreement.

  • Labour Management Relations Committee 20.01 The parties recognize that a forum for ongoing discussions during the term of the Agreement can promote more harmonious labour relations between them.

  • Hospital-Association Committee (a) There shall be a Hospital-Association Committee comprised of representatives of the Hospital, one of whom shall be the Chief Nursing Officer or designate and of the Association, one of whom shall be the Bargaining Unit President or designate. The number of representatives is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions and the membership of the Committee may be expanded by mutual agreement.

  • Health Care Committee A Health Insurance Committee shall be established and maintained with at least three (3) representatives appointed by the Association and three (3) representatives appointed by the Superintendent. The purpose of the Committee shall be to make recommendations designed to optimize the quality of health care available to District employees and improve cost effectiveness of the health insurance program. Committee members shall review data, work with the District insurance consultant, collaborate on making recommendations for changes in plan design, review bids by insurance companies, and ultimately consider recommending plan changes to their respective constituencies. The Committee is not empowered to unilaterally make changes in health care benefits without ratification by the Association and approval by the Board. The creation of the Committee does not diminish or in any way reduce the Board’s and Association’s rights or responsibilities.

  • Association-Management Committee There shall be an Association-Management Committee comprised of two (2) representatives of the parties. The Committee shall meet quarterly, unless otherwise mutually agreed. Agenda items to be discussed shall be exchanged in writing at least five calendar days prior to the meeting. Meetings of this Committee will be to discuss matters of mutual concern, matters relating to nursing, professional practice, scheduling and work load issues. The Committee shall promote and provide for effective and meaningful communication. The parties agree Self Scheduling is appropriate subject matter to discuss in this forum.

  • Union Grievance Committee (a) The Employer shall recognize a Union Grievance Committee which consists of:
