Efficiency and Effectiveness. It is mutually agreed that the City management and the Association shall work together to provide the public with efficient and courteous service, to encourage good attendance of employees and to promote a climate of labor relations that will aid in maintaining and improving upon the high level of efficiency in the Spokane Fire Department.
Efficiency and Effectiveness. The Company constantly monitors the efficiency and effectiveness of the processes involved in providing the public maritime transport service by means of service quality indicators, using all the tools provided by the management procedures and the technological supports available. The Company’s internal committee continuously evaluates efficiency and effectiveness and produces periodic reports of indicators, on the basis of which intervention strategies are outlined aimed at the excellence of the services offered, with the goal of meeting and exceeding the expectations of maritime transport users. Possible initiatives with third parties (ports, terminals, ticket offices, agencies, etc.) to improve mobility services related to maritime transport are also evaluated.

Efficiency and Effectiveness. 5.1 The Government requires the Department and its partner NDPB’s to maximise effectiveness and efficiency in using staff and financial resources to deliver their objectives. The continued development of robust performance indicators, building on the earlier work of the Efficiency and Effectiveness Review, and setting of challenging but achievable targets will help to deliver this.
Efficiency and Effectiveness. BEG and BNFL have Agreed a number of areas related to the supply of Fuel where they consider that there is the potential opportunity for further efficiency improvements and cost savings, as listed in Appendix 9. BEG and BNFL recognise that achieving the same is in some cases dependent upon the co-operation of BEG(UK) and in such circumstances BEG and BNFL will work together with a view to securing such co-operation. BEG and BNFL anticipate that further such opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings may arise over the period of this Agreement. BEG and BNFL undertake to work together in good faith on a continuous basis to identify, develop and exploit any such opportunities. The provision of this Clause 15 shall not apply to the Uranic Elements Supply Component of this Agreement except where: (a) they relate to proposed changes to all or part of the Uranic Elements Supply Component of this Agreement which could have an impact on all or part of the process of manufacturing of Fuel Elements by BNFL; or (b) they relate to proposed changes to all or part of the process of manufacturing of Fuel Elements by BNFL which could have an impact on all or part of the Uranic Elements Supply Component of this Agreement.

BEG(UK) and BNFL anticipate that further such opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings may arise over the term of this Agreement. BEG(UK) and BNFL undertake to work together in good faith on a continuous basis to identify, develop and exploit any such opportunities and BNFL agrees to give to BEG(UK) an appropriate share of the benefit of all such efficiency improvements and cost savings. The provision of this Clause 15 shall not apply to the Uranic Elements Supply Component of this Agreement except where: (a) they relate to proposed changes to all or part of the Uranic Elements Supply Component of this Agreement which could have an impact on all or part of the process of manufacturing of Fuel Elements by BNFL; or (b) they relate to proposed changes to all or part of the process of manufacturing of Fuel Elements by BNFL which could have an impact on all or part of the Uranic Elements Supply Component of this Agreement.

Efficiency and Effectiveness. The University of Aberdeen is committed to improving its efficiency and effectiveness and we strive to explore and exploit opportunities as they arise, as evidenced by the following case studies in the Universities Scotland publication “Working Smarter”: The University of Aberdeen was a 2013 “Green Gown” winner for this project to upgrade the live primary data centre, transforming it into a state of the art shared data centre for all HE and FE institutions in the North East of Scotland. Major construction work, the use of innovative technology and relocation of all network and server hardware were all carried out whilst all business operations were kept running. This project provides a longer term opportunity to share IT assets and services, with the prospect of greater efficiencies.

Related to Efficiency and Effectiveness

  • Effectiveness This Agreement shall become effective upon the execution and delivery hereof by the parties hereto.

  • Counterparts; Integration; Effectiveness This Agreement may be executed in counterparts (and by different parties hereto in different counterparts), each of which shall constitute an original, but all of which when taken together shall constitute a single contract. This Agreement and the other Loan Documents constitute the entire contract among the parties relating to the subject matter hereof and supersede any and all previous agreements and understandings, oral or written, relating to the subject matter hereof. Except as provided in Section 4.01, this Agreement shall become effective when it shall have been executed by the Administrative Agent and when the Administrative Agent shall have received counterparts hereof that, when taken together, bear the signatures of each of the other parties hereto. Delivery of an executed counterpart of a signature page of this Agreement by telecopy or other electronic imaging means shall be effective as delivery of a manually executed counterpart of this Agreement.
