Common use of The Department Director Clause in Contracts

The Department Director. 4 Grievances submitted at Step 2 and grievances unresolved at Step 1 may be 5 presented by the Grievant or his or her Union representative to the department director. 6 Unresolved grievances must be submitted within fifteen (15) days after the response is due 7 at Step 1. The department director will respond in writing to the Grievant or his or her Union 8 representative within fifteen (15) days of receipt.
