The Solar Walkway Canopy portion of the DCS Solar Energy System project shall be constructed behind the student sidewalk at the DCS Bus Hub off Xxx Xxxx Road behind Xxxxx Elementary School. The entrance to the Bus Hub is located west of Anchor Elementary School, which is at 0000 Xxx Xxxx Rd, Dexter, Michigan. The solar array shall be constructed on a plateau parcel owned by DCS immediately west of the Bus Loop entrance road. Both elements of the solar energy system shall be connected to the exterior primary switch gear and transformer yard immediately behind Xxxxx, which serves three elementary schools, a middle school, and the community pool . See plans included within the RFP for locations of these three project element locations.
The Project’s physical characteristics. The program is as indicated on the concept plans prepared by DLR Group dated July 23, 2021 with exception of the Sheriff’s offices for dispatch as shell construction for future development. Expansion to the existing sheriffs and detention facility as indicated in conceptual drawings dated July 23th, 2021. With the exceptions of Sheriff’s offices for Dispatch to be an open building space for future development by the County. Project expansion to be approximately 11,800 gross square feet within a one-story building adjacent and attached to the existing sheriff’s office/detention with a second story connection to the existing courthouse.
