Common use of The Salary Anniversary Date Clause in Contracts

The Salary Anniversary Date. is the day when an employee is next entitled to a salary increment, following the completion of a year of service. Although this is often on the anniversary of the original date of hire, it may be advanced by the Society due to additional credit for past experience or delayed when leave without pay or other circumstances reduce work credit. It may also be adjusted at the time of creation of new salary scales to which an employee then becomes entitled.
