Theme Weekends. Another anchor in the program, this series is well attended due to its high profile location in Xxxxx Xxxx and its proximity to the waterfront and downtown restaurants. NOTE: We are aware location may change and will discuss with City staff • 16 Concerts will be held on the Kelowna Pride Stage in Xxxxx Xxxx from 7:00 to 10:00 pm each Friday and Saturday night in July and August • A diversity of artists and musicians that appeal to all ages will be presented. The size of performing groups will often be larger and have more complex production needs • Will feature greater number of professional performing artists than other concert series. This is a preferred location for staff to book touring artists due to event budget, supportive venue infrastructure, and guarantee of larger of audiences • Additional onsite programming is booked to enhance the onstage entertainment and create a festival environment

  • Weekends Holidays that fall on weekends will be observed on a day established by the School District.

  • Paid Holidays – Long Weekends (a) When an employee is scheduled to work a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to also schedule the employee to work the paid holiday.

  • Holidays Worked When an employee works on a calendar holiday, he/she shall receive payment of the holiday at the regular rate and in addition, at the discretion of the Employer, (1) be paid at the rate of time and one half for hours actually worked on the holiday or (2) be given compensatory time off equal to one and one half the number of hours actually worked.

  • Weekends Off (Full-Time and Regular Part-Time) In scheduling shifts the Hospital will endeavour to arrange schedules so as to provide for a minimum of eight (8) weekends off in every twenty-four (24) week period, and, in any event, at least one (1) weekend off in each three (3) week period. Where a weekend off is not granted within a three week period, time worked on such third weekend and every subsequent weekend shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half. This standard shall not apply where:

  • Sick Leave Verification The Employer will not require verification for absences of less than 3 consecutive work days. Such verification or proof may be given to the supervisor/manager or Human Resources according to departmental policy. The Employer will not make unreasonable requests for sick leave verification.

  • Weekend Work (a) Overtime work on Saturday shall be paid for at the rate of time and a half (1.5) for the first two (2) hours and double time thereafter, provided that all overtime worked after 12 noon on Saturday shall be paid for at the rate of double time.

  • Work Week The work week will begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 11:59 p.m. the following Saturday.

  • Lunch If the Company elects to furnish a lunch meal, it will be suitable and may be in the form of a box lunch. The meal shall be eaten at the job site or a Company designated location. Employees eating a box lunch or other Company-provided lunch at the job site will be allowed 30 minutes paid time to eat and will also be granted the dollar amount of the meal allowance as specified under the labor agreement.

  • Weekend Holidays 9.3.1. A full-time employee who works a Monday through Friday schedule and the calendar holiday falls on a Saturday, the employee shall be allowed the preceding day off. When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the employee shall be allowed the following day off. If the employee works the day preceding or following such a holiday, he/she shall be given another workday off with pay or shall receive payment for that day at the regular rate.

  • Overtime and Calls 8.1 Except as otherwise provided, time in excess of eight hours' service (exclusive of meal period) shall be considered overtime and shall be paid on the actual minute basis at the rate of time and one-half time.
