Thesis Seminars. Thesis seminars are courses entirely devoted to questions to and discussions between participating students and lecturer(s). Thesis seminars take place parallel to preparing the Bachelor’s thesis.

Seminars All Residency Candidates must attend any seminars scheduled during the semester. The seminars are designed to prepare the candidate for his/her Teacher Performance Assessment (edTPA) that is completed during Residency II. Failure to attend the Residency seminars will affect the candidate’s performance on the Teacher Performance Assessment and will affect the Teacher Candidate’s overall grade for the Clinical Residency Experience. This could also impact their ability to obtain licensure.
School Meals 31) The Academy Trust shall, if requested to do so by or on behalf of any pupils at the Academy, provide school lunches for those pupils unless it would be unreasonable for it to do so. Subject to the provisions of clause 32 charges may be levied for lunches, but the Academy Trust shall otherwise fund the cost of such school lunches from its GAG.

Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. Promotional Examinations All promotional examinations shall be competitive and shall be conducted in the same manner as open examinations except that admission to a promotional examination shall be restricted to persons in the employ of the County who have served at least six months following regular appointment to the classified service and who meet the published requirements for the examination. The Commission shall determine whether an examination shall be held on a promotional or open basis. 1492 Disposition of Papers and Records Prescribed application forms of persons who fail to appear for the written test and examination records of candidates who fail to qualify in the written test shall be destroyed at any time after thirty days from the date of promulgation of the eligible list. Examination records of candidates who qualify in an examination shall be retained during the life of the eligible list or for 15 months, whichever is longer, and the examination records of each appointee shall be filed in his/her permanent personnel folder. Following the period during which competitors may inspect their examination papers, and after their ratings in each part of the examination have been transferred to examination records, examination materials such as question booklets, answer sheets and work papers may be destroyed, but general qualification appraisal sheets and applications shall be retained at least 15 months from the date of the promulgation of the eligible list. Screening 3.13.1 Refuse containers located outside the building shall be fully screened from adjacent properties and from streets by means of opaque fencing or masonry walls with suitable landscaping.
Teaching Assistants 1. All Teaching Assistants shall receive the same remuneration per base unit and the difference between the amount paid a Graduate Teaching Assistant and other Teaching Assistants is an associated scholarship. See XIII D. for appropriate compensation.
Exit Planning 6. The Grant Recipient will, in conjunction with the Authority, maintain, and as necessary update, the Exit Plan throughout the Funding Period so that it can be implemented immediately, if required. From time-to-time either the Authority or the Grant Recipient may instigate a review of the Exit Plan.
