Common use of Time Change Clause in Contracts

Time Change. In shifts affected by changes to/from Daylight Savings Time where the work day is shortened as a result of the change, employees whose shift is shortened by one hour shall be given the opportunity to utilize an hour of accumulated leave or an hour of Xxxxx time for those working a 12 hour schedule, to make up the difference. Where the work day is lengthened due to the time change, the employee shall be compensated with one hour of overtime.
