Time for In-Service Training Sample Clauses

Time for In-Service Training. It is anticipated that time will be set aside during the school year and during the regular work day for in-service training. Times set for such training shall be mutually agreed to by the District and the Association. The number and type of in-service activities offered will vary annually, depending on the needs of the District and the interests of employees and the Association. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) will be released up to thirty (30) hours with pay during each two-year period for recertification training, based on FTE. COTAs who work half the work year assigned to the position or less will be prorated based on 8 hours per day, 180-day assignment. No overtime will be paid for such training.
