Overtime will be. (a) calculated to the nearest ¼ of an hour; (b) calculated on the basis of the employee’s base pay in effect at the time the overtime occurred; and (c) for a minimum of one hour of compensation at the appropriate rate.

Overtime will be paid as follows for employees who normally work a Twelve (12)
Overtime will be payable for all work performed before or after the agreed hours or outside the spread of ordinary hours, if any, applicable to similar full-time employees. The excess time or time worked outside the spread of ordinary hours shall be treated as overtime and paid at the appropriate overtime penalty rate calculated on the employee’s rate of pay.

  • Overtime Overtime will begin to accrue after sixty (60) hours in a two (2) week period averaged over the scheduling period determined by the local parties. Overtime will apply if the employee works in excess of the normal daily hours. Payment for overtime is as in Article 16.01.

  • Overtime Payment Full-time employees shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half times the employee's straight time hourly rate for all time worked outside of their normal work hours and/or work days up to sixteen (16) hours in a twenty-four (24) hour period. For hours worked in excess of sixteen (16) in a twenty-four (24) hour period, employees shall be paid double time. Employees who receive an unpaid lunch period and are not required to work at their work assignments during such period shall not have such time treated as hours worked for the purpose of computing overtime.

  • Overtime Hours Except as otherwise provided in this section, all hours worked in excess of the established work day, before or after an employee's regular scheduled shift, or on any regularly scheduled day off, shall be considered overtime. All paid vacation time, paid holidays, paid sick leave, compensatory time off, and paid leaves of absence shall be considered as "time worked" for purposes of this Article.   • BEREAVEMENT PAY If an employee suffers a death in the immediate family, he shall be granted compassionate leave of absence with full pay for three (3) days. Immediate family means: spouse, mother, father, brother, sister, children, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandparents and grandchildren. If the employee affected does not attend or arrange services then he shall only be entitled to one (1) day as provided under this Section.
