Common use of Time Limit for Bargaining Clause in Contracts

Time Limit for Bargaining. Items under negotiation must be resolved to the mutual satisfaction of both parties, within forty (40) days of the first scheduled meeting. However, if both parties agree to extensions of time for negotiations, more time may be granted. If no agreement is reached, impasse procedure outlined in this document shall be implemented.
