Common use of Time Off for Health and Safety Training Clause in Contracts

Time Off for Health and Safety Training. Union members of the Health and Safety Committee may be granted time off from work by the Employer with no loss of seniority or earnings, to attend educational courses and seminars sponsored by the Union of government agencies for instruction and upgrading on health and safety matters. The Union, however, recognizes the obligation of the employee to maintain and upgrade his/her professional skills and abilities.

Time Off for Health and Safety Training.
