Common use of TIME-OFF-IN-LIEU OR PAY OPTIONS Clause in Contracts

TIME-OFF-IN-LIEU OR PAY OPTIONS. Where an employee attends an educational or training course requested by the Employer, such time will be considered to be time worked. The employee shall have the option of either receiving pay for such time or equivalent time off. Time off accumulated will not be taken in amounts greater than three (3) days and cannot be taken in conjunction with vacation or holidays with pay unless mutually agreed by the Employer and the employee. Lieu time off will be taken at a time mutually agreed upon by the Employer and the employee.
