Topographic/Improvement Location Survey. ♦ Team coordination to develop extents of topographic/improvement location survey. ♦ Consultant shall prepare and submit Application for Temporary Occupancy with BNSF and coordinate with BNSF representatives for scheduling field work and BNSF flaggers. ♦ Mapping will occur within the public right-of way and no more than 10-feet past the right-of-way, with a limited number of areas that may require more than 10 feet, all within the survey limits, the blue outlined area as shown in figure 1 ♦ Trees with 6” dbh or greater will be located, ornamental trees with a smaller dbh will be drafted into the basemap. ♦ Field collection of planimetric features and elevations sufficient to develop a 1-foot contour Digital Terrain Model (DTM). ♦ Locate top of BNSF rails 1,000 feet north and south of the intersection with NE Olney Avenue with shots on the centerline of railways at 100-foot stations on tangents and 50-foot stations on curves. ♦ Locate the signals, signs and other RR appurtenances, point of switches and frogs within the 1,000 foot sections directly adjacent to the railroad tracks. ♦ Topographic mapping within the RR right of way for 200-feet north and south of the intersection with NE Olney Avenue. ♦ Office processing and mapping of field data. ♦ Manipulate, verify, and incorporate the provided survey data on Portland Avenue into the basemap. ♦ Develop DTM from field collected elevations. ♦ Prepare topographic basemap. ♦ Incorporate the 2022 city aerial imagery into the basemap drawing.
