Common use of TRAINING AND INSERVICE Clause in Contracts

TRAINING AND INSERVICE. The District shall provide employees with the training administratively determined to be necessary and appropriate (including classes, inservice, etc.). If approved in advance by the Director of Transportation, employees shall be allowed to attend training pertaining to their job responsibilities. Pay for all such training is described in Article 24. Bus Drivers and bus aides shall not be paid for training that is not mandatory or that is not related to their job responsibilities. The District shall identify all training that is mandatory.
