Common use of Training in Service Clause in Contracts

Training in Service. The parties believe that job satisfaction and performance are enhanced by ongoing skills training. Therefore, when additional training/in-service is required by the employer or requested by a group of employees and approved by the employer, such training shall be provided. Attendance by staff will be mandatory and time spent at the workshop shall be considered as time worked. An attempt will be made to coordinate staff training on days when students are not in session and on the second professional development day outlined in Article 24.06 (c).
