Transfer Incentive. Members who agree to transfer to a firehouse which would, in the opinion of the Fire Chief, increase racial diversity at that house will be entitled to sell back up to four (4) holidays per year, in addition to that provided in Article 29, for each full year that they remain in such transfer assignment. Payment will be made on an hour for hour basis at the rate of pay in effect for the member. Members must make notification of their intent to sell holiday repay time back to the City by November 15 of each year and payment will be made the following January. A member shall be eligible for transfer incentive for a maximum of three (3) years.
