If We pay an innocent co-insured for loss arising out of an act of domestic violence by another insured, the rights of the innocent co-insured to recover damages from the abuser are transferred to Us to the extent of Our payment. Following the loss, the innocent co-insured may not waive such rights to recover against the abuser.

Attachment of Liability ■ Liability under this Policy shall not attach until the “minimum financial responsibility liability limits” have been exhausted by payment of judgments or settlements and the “insured” has become legally obligated to pay the “ultimate net loss” in excess of such “minimum financial responsibility liability limits.” Coverage Territory ■ The coverage territory is as stated in the “rental agreement” and is further limited to: • The United States of America; • The territories and possessions of the United States of America; • Puerto Rico; and • Canada. Section Ill - Definitions ■ “Bodily injury” means bodily injury, sickness or disease sustained by a person including death resulting from these.

a. Prior to a loss to your Covered Property; or
b. After a loss to your Covered Property or Covered Income only if, at time of loss, that party is one of the following:
1) Someone insured by this insurance;
2) A business firm:
a) Owned or controlled by you; or
b) That owns or controls you; or
3) Your tenant. This will not restrict your insurance.
