TRANSFERRED SICK LEAVE. Any classified employee hired within one (1) year of termination of employment in another public school district of California, having served for one (1) or more years in that district prior to termination and terminating for the sole purpose of accepting employment in the Lake Tahoe Unified School District, shall have transferred to his or her credit in the Lake Tahoe Unified School District such unused sick leave as he or she had standing in the former district.
