Common use of Transport Allowances Clause in Contracts

Transport Allowances. ‌ (a) A motor vehicle allowance will be reimbursed to a member of staff requested to use his/her own vehicle for official business, at the standard mileage rate specified from time to time by the Inland Revenue Department. (b) Staff will cover the cost of their own travel to and from his/her work each day, provided that where the work base varies from time to time, the employer will pay any additional costs incurred. The employer may operate a policy by which this is accomplished.
