Common use of Transport Clause in Contracts

Transport. The aim of cooperation shall be to: (a) achieve the restructuring and modernisation of road, rail, port and airport infrastructure of common interest, in correlation with major trans-European communication routes; (b) define and apply operating standards comparable to those found in the Community; (c) bring equipment up to Community standards, particularly where multimodal transport, containerisation and transhipment are concerned; (d) gradually improve road, maritime and multimodal transit and the management of ports, airports, sea and air traffic and railways.
