TRANSPORTATION AND TRAVEL TIME. 13.01 If an employee's car is used for transportation to and from jobs, the owner shall be paid at least fifty (50¢) per kilometre for such use if the job is more than sixteen (16) kilometres from the city limits of the City of St. Catharines. It is understood that only those kilometres that are in excess of the above- mentioned kilometres will be paid for. 13.02 Employees shall be obliged to travel together as much as possible to eliminate unnecessary care usage. 13.03 When an employee's vehicle is used for hauling company materials, the owner shall be paid twenty-five (25¢) per kilometre for such use. 13.04 Employees who are asked to drive other employees from shop or marshalling area to work site shall be paid travel time both ways unless other arrangements are mutually agreed. 13.05 Employees shall receive travel time one way to any job site from the shop or marshalling area. In no case will an employee receive less than one half (½) hour travel time.
