Lunchroom. On jobsites where adequate facilities are not already present, the Employer may, where the duration and size of the job economically justifies the expenditure, provide a properly heated and maintained shelter to be used as a lunch room.
Lunchroom. The Company will provide a microwave oven and coffee machine in the lunchroom at each store. Tables and chairs will be maintained in good condition.
Lunchroom. The Employer agrees to provide lunchroom facilities for the use of members of C.U.P.E., Local 126 and other Employees.
Lunchroom. 28.01 The Employer must provide a suitable heated and ventilated room in the Store where employees can take their meals and relax and it must be kept clean. Employees shall help the Employer keep the room in clean and hygienic condition.
Lunchroom. (a) The Company will at no cost to it’s employees supply a frost free refrigerator for it’s lunchroom.
Lunchroom. 19.01 The Employer will provide a lunchroom in each facility containing tables and chairs for the use of employees.
Lunchroom. The Employer shall provide a lunchroom, separate from the public, where employees can eat their lunch. This room may also be used exclusively by the employees to hold meetings related to union affairs.
Lunchroom. The daily/yearly work schedule is determined by the Superintendent in conjunction with the lunchroom supervisor and is based on assignment and when pupils are in attendance. Work calendars will be distributed to the employee and may be changed only at the discretion of the Superintendent with thirty (30) days written notice. In the absence of the head cook, the most senior assistant cook at the site will be designated to serve as head cook and shall receive head cook pay. The most senior assistant cook at his/her site will be trained in the head cook duties and responsibilities. In the absence of the head cook, any person designated to serve as head cook, immediately prior to and after a holiday, will receive holiday pay at the head cook rate at their appropriate step. When a vacancy occurs, the original posted hours shall remain in effect for the remainder of the school year. The one exception would be in the case of an emergency, i.e. large decreases of enrollment where adjustments in hours would be justified. When circumstances dictate that posted hours must be decreased by 15 minutes or more, the affected employee may exercise seniority rights by moving to a different qualified position to regain as close as possible the original posted hours and lost time. There will be one head cook in each building; the rest will be assistants. A head cook will have the responsibility of calling a substitute in the case of illness or other absence. The lunchroom supervisor will have the responsibility of calling a substitute cashier in the case of illness or other absence. At times, the supervisor may request additional catering to be done for events outside the regular school day, i.e. full lunches, banquets, dinners, etc. The adjustment of daily work schedules may be required. This may mean additional time before or after scheduled daily work and/or lighter menus during the work day which will allow for food preparation during the normal work hours. Any extra time within the 8-hour day will be paid at regular rate of pay.
Lunchroom. All sandwiches are to be prepared by catering staff, when practical a pre-order system may be utilized by the Caterers. (Sandwiches must contain a date coding.) An assortment of at least 8 choices must be available daily as follows: Beef, ham, pork and prepared meats, devilled eggs, fish, cheese, peanut butter and jam. Garnishes, e.g. lettuce, pickles, sliced tomatoes, celery, carrot sticks, radishes, sliced cucumbers, green onions, sliced eggs daily. Assorted pastries, choice of three types of pie (wrapped) and cookies daily. Tea, coffee and milk for thermos fillings must also be provided.
