Common use of Travel Time Clause in Contracts

Travel Time. a) On all projects, regardless of accessibility or isolation, where an employee transports an Employer’s vehicle to the job, such employee will be paid their regular rate of pay for actual time traveled. Such employees will not receive duplicating travel allowance. b) On all projects, regardless of accessibility or isolation, where an employee’s classification requires the use of their own vehicle in the performance of their duties, such employee will be paid at their regular rate of pay for actual (reasonable) time traveled from the point of hire to the project and return.
