Common use of Tuition Reimbursement Program Clause in Contracts

Tuition Reimbursement Program. 17.1 Tuition reimbursement shall be administered in accordance with the City of Gainesville HR Policy B-1, which was revised on 4/3/14, and Human Resources Procedure B-1, which was revised on 5/4/14. The City will not substantially modify application of this policy, as it pertains to employees covered by this Agreement, unless the Association is provided an opportunity to negotiate in accordance with Chapter 447, Florida Statutes concerning the change. 17.2 The City of Gainesville will provide funding to support this program and to assist employees with accredited educational tuition costs. An attempt will be made to distribute above said funds so they will be available for each school term.
