Tutor. Tutors provide assistance to students enrolled in courses of regular instruction. Tutors do not work under the direct supervision of or in conjunction with the course instructor, nor are they involved in course preparation or evaluation. Tutors do not provide the same level of service to students that faculty or faculty assistants do, nor do they have the same level of responsibility or accountability.
