Common use of Union Conventions & Seminars Clause in Contracts

Union Conventions & Seminars. Upon written request to the Employer, an employee elected and/or appointed to represent the Union at conventions, schools or seminars, shall be allowed a leave of absence, providing reasonable operations requirements permit; and no more than one (1) employee (or two (2) by mutual agreement) is absent at any one (1) time. The Employer reserves the right to request confirmation of attendance at any Union event in which they have approved time off for employees to attend.
