UNION DUES AND CHECK-OFF. 8.01 Subject to the provisions of this Article, the Employer shall, as a condition of employment, deduct an amount equal to the monthly membership dues from the monthly pay of all employees in the Bargaining Unit. Where an employee does not have sufficient earnings in respect of any month to permit deductions made under this Article, the Employer shall not be obligated to make such deduction from subsequent salary.
