Union Security and Union Check Off. (a) Every employee shall, as a condition of his or her continued employment, become and remain a member in good standing of the Union. (b) No employee shall unreasonably be denied membership in the Union. If an employee is denied membership or has his membership terminated for reasons other than the failure to tender uniform union dues and initiation fees, the employee, if he tenders such payments, shall be deemed to maintain his membership. (a) Every employee shall, as a condition of his continued employment, authorize the Company in writing, to deduct from the monies payable to him thereafter during the life of this Agreement and during the life of any subsequent collective agreement containing similar provisions, such amount as may from time to time be certified in writing by the Union to the Company as being the amount of Union dues currently payable. (b) On commencing employment, the employee’s immediate supervisor shall introduce the new employee to his Union Xxxxxxx or Representative. An Officer of the Union shall be given the opportunity to meet with the new employee within regular working hours without loss of pay for a maximum of fifteen (15) minutes during the first week of employment for the purpose of acquainting the new employee with the benefits and duties of the Union membership and his responsibilities and obligations to the Company and the Union. (c) Every new employee shall within thirty (30) days after the commencement of his employment complete and sign an application for membership in the Union and an authorization for deduction from his pay of such amount as may be at that time, certified by the Union to the Company, as the Union’s standard initiation fee. (d) Initiation fees, assessments and Union dues deducted by the Company shall be remitted to the Secretary/Treasurer of the Union by the tenth day of the following month in which such deductions were made, together with such detail and explanation as may be reasonably required. The number of hours paid as well as the Local assessment shall be shown in such detail. Such information will include the name of any new bargaining unit employees as well as the name of any employees who have terminated employment. 6.03 The Union shall indemnify and save the Company harmless from any and all claims, demands and proceedings that may arise from any deductions or any related action or actions.

Union Security and Union Check Off. Section 1. All Drivers and Driver’s Assistants of the Company covered by this Collective Bargaining Agreement, on the thirty-first (a31st) Every employee shallcalendar day following the beginning of their employment or thirty-one (31) calendar days following the date of the execution of this Collective Bargaining Agreement, whichever is later, shall become members of the Union in good standing, as a term and condition of his or her continued employment, become . The Union agrees to admit all eligible Drivers and remain a member in good standing Driver's Assistants of the Union.
(b) No employee shall unreasonably be denied membership in Company to membership, without discrimination upon payment of the Union. If an employee is denied membership or has his membership terminated for reasons other than the failure to tender uniform union customary Union dues and initiation fees, the employee, if he tenders such payments, shall be deemed to maintain his membershipfee.

New hires* shall not be entitled to deduct from the monies payable to him thereafter additional work outside their permanent Package during the life of this Agreement and during the life of any subsequent collective agreement containing similar provisions, such amount as may from time to time be certified in writing by the Union to the Company as being the amount of Union dues currently payable.
(b) On commencing employment, the employee’s immediate supervisor shall introduce the new employee to his Union Xxxxxxx or Representative. (c) Every new employee shall within their thirty (30) days after day probationary period, unless all bargaining unit members have been exhausted, except for home-to-school and school-to-home.
Section 3. The Company agrees to deduct Union monies from employee's earnings, when authorized to do so by signed written assignment, conformable with the commencement requirements of his employment complete and sign an application for membership in the Union and an authorization for deduction from his pay of such amount as may law. All deductions shall be at that time, certified by the Union turned over to the Company, as the Union’s standard initiation fee.
(d) Initiation fees, assessments and Union dues deducted by the Company shall be remitted to the Secretary/Treasurer treasurer of the Union promptly. Union dues will be deducted weekly from the Drivers’ and Driver’s Assistants’ earnings. The remittance shall be accompanied by a list showing individual names and amounts deducted. The total remittances are to be made monthly. The employer shall notify the tenth day local Union xxxxxxx of all new employees covered by this Agreement upon completion of the following month in which such deductions were madetrial probation period, together with such detail giving to the Union the name(s), address, social security number, date of hire and explanation as may be reasonably requiredposition of employment. The number of hours paid as well as Union agrees that all such employees will be accepted into membership upon the Local assessment shall be shown in such detailsame terms and conditions generally applicable to other members. Such information will include the name of any new bargaining unit employees as well as the name of any employees who have terminated employment.
6.03 The Union shall indemnify and save the Company harmless from against any and all claims, demands suits, demands, judgments, attachments, and proceedings from any other form of liability that shall or may arise from out of, or by reason of action taken or not taken by the Employer as a result of complying with any deductions list, notice or any related action or actionsassignment furnished under the above provision of this Collective Bargaining Agreement.
