UNION STEWARDS AND UNION REPRESENTATION. a. The Agency recognizes and agrees to deal with the accredited Union stewards and representatives of the Union in all matters relating to grievances and the interpretation of this Agreement. b. A written list of officers of the Union and the Union stewards with the specific areas they represent, shall be furnished to the Agency immediately after their designation and the Union shall notify the Agency promptly in writing of any changes of such Union officers or stewards. c. The number of Union stewards shall be no more than one for each thirty (30) employees or fraction thereof in that Unit. Further, the provisions of subsection (e), above, shall apply to only such persons (including a paid full-time Local or International Union staff representative).

Local Union Representatives , upon request by the Union, shall be allowed time off without pay admitted to the buildings and grounds of the Board during work hours for the purpose of periodic visitation with bargaining unit employees, excluding investigating or be allowed to use any accumulated vacation in lieu handling of taking such time off without pay for legitimate Union business such as Union meetings, state or area-wide Union Committee Meetings, Council or International conventionscomplaints, provided any such Representatives staff representative first reports the location and time of each visit to the Superintendent's designated representative. Upon arrival at the location, the Union representative shall give thirty (30) days’ notice to their supervisors of contact the school principal, warehouse supervisor, or his designated representative. Any such absence and such absence does visits by the Union representative shall not interfere with the department’s operationsnormal work of the employees being visited.
Section 4. A negotiation committee consisting of not more than ten (10) employees shall be selected by the Union to represent it in collective bargaining negotiations. The Board shall be notified by registered or certified mail of the names of committee members and successors. Negotiation committee members shall notify their respective supervisors when it is necessary to leave their work stations for such purposes and when they return in accordance with the requirements of Section 3(a).

UNION STEWARDS AND UNION REPRESENTATION. a. Section 1. The Agency Board recognizes and agrees to shall deal with the accredited Union stewards Stewards, Chapter Chairperson and representatives Grievance Committee, consisting of the Chapter Chairperson as chairperson and three (3) stewards as committee members. There shall be no more than two (2) stewards per location per shift (one for nutrition services and one for custodial), three (3) stewards for the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Warehouse, one (1) ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ for the administration building warehouse, one ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ per shift at the Central Nutrition Center, and one (1) ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ per rotating night crew. Stewards can only represent the employees assigned to their shift in their departments. Employees now covered by the Memorandum of Understanding shall not have their right to Union in all matters relating to grievances and representation reduced or removed as a result of any reorganization instituted by the interpretation of this AgreementBoard.
b. Section 2. A written list of officers of the Union Stewards (such list to outline the area to be represented by each ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇), Chapter Chairperson and the Union stewards with the specific areas they represent, Grievance Committee shall be furnished to the Agency Board immediately after their designation and the Union shall notify the Agency Board promptly in writing of any changes of such Union officers stewards or stewardschanges thereof.

UNION STEWARDS AND UNION REPRESENTATION. a. 6.1 The Agency Public Employer recognizes and agrees to shall deal with all the accredited Union stewards union stewards, the union business manager, and representatives any other officer listed in Section 1.2 of the Union this agreement in all matters relating to grievances and the interpretation of this Agreementthe agreement.

(B) The Union may appoint two (2) of the above stewards as Roving Stewards.
6.3 The Public Employer and the Union recognize the need for expansion within Nassau County. When additional permanent work locations are created, the Public Employer and the Union will meet, at the request of either party, for the purpose of mutually determining the stewardship needs of the Union. A written list of officers of the Union union stewards, and the Union stewards with the specific areas they representalternates, shall be furnished to the Agency immediately after Public Employer prior to the effective date of their designation and the assuming duties of office. The Union shall notify the Agency Public Employer promptly in writing of any changes of such Union officers or union stewards.

6.4 Officials of the Union, may investigate as designated in Section 1.2 of this agreement may, with proper authorization, which will not be unduly withheld, be admitted to the specified grievance and assist in its presentationproperty of the Public Employer. Reasonable time Officials, as designated above, shall be allowed able to talk with employees before or after regular working hours or during lunch hours of said employees on Public Employer's property in areas mutually agreed on by the Union and the Public Employer.
6.5 Arrangements will be made for officers or accredited representatives of the Union to be admitted to the property of the Public Employer during working hours without loss of time or pay, subject to prior notification and approval of the appointing authority, through Step 2 of the grievance procedure only.

When an area or building belonging to the Public Employer is not normally open for visitation, then the Public Employer shall provide a responsible escort to that union officer or accredited representative provided this service is arranged for in advance.
6.6 The Public Employer agrees to give at least thirty (30) days’ calendar days notice to their supervisors the Union prior to any vote by the Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County having the net effect of reducing the work force of the bargaining unit.
6.7 All files of the employee shall be open for investigation by the appropriate union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ in the investigation of any grievance. However, such absence and such absence does not interfere investigation will be in the presence of or with the department’s operationspermission of the employee.
