Unit member Certification Status. The actual or anticipated certification status of all applicants for unit member positions in the Washington County School System shall be set forth in a written document before prospective employment. A copy of said document shall be given to the unit member prior to the execution of an employment contract. If a salary is affirmed for a school year on the basis of an anticipated certification status, said salary shall not be diminished during that school year regardless of actual certification status achieved.
