Unpaid Educational Leave. Applications for unpaid educational leave shall be accepted on an annual basis. To be eligible for unpaid educational leave, the full-time employee must be employed before October 1 of the year prior to the year in question. If he/she is employed on or after October 1, he/she may be scheduled for educational leave in the following year.
