Common use of Unpaid LOA Clause in Contracts

Unpaid LOA. A scheduled unpaid absence from a bargaining unit position shall be 2 considered a “leave of absence” for purposes of return rights following the absence, 3 even though the nurse may continue to work in the non-bargaining unit position.
