Common use of Unpaid Medical Leave of Absence Clause in Contracts

Unpaid Medical Leave of Absence. Benefit eligible/full-time employees, who have exhausted earned paid absence leave, may request an Unpaid Medical Leave of Absence not to exceed 6 calendar months. Subd 1. An Unpaid Medical Leave of Absence, when granted, shall be for a period of time as is agreed upon between the Director of Human Resources and the employee, subject to the approval of the School Board. An Unpaid Medical Leave of Absence shall not be granted to secure other employment.
