Common use of Unrequested Leave of Absence Clause in Contracts

Unrequested Leave of Absence. If a member is unable to perform satisfactorily the duties of his position because of physical or other disability, or if the member has been absent due to personal illness following the expiration of his accumulated sick days, the Superintendent may recommend, without the request of a member, a leave of absence for a part of the school year, and renewals thereof, and the Board may grant such leave in accordance with the provisions of the law.
