Common use of Unrequested Leave of Absence Clause in Contracts

Unrequested Leave of Absence. Subd. 1. The school district may place on unrequested leave of absence, without pay or fringe benefits, such employees as may be necessary because of discontinuance of position, lack of pupils, financial limitations, or merger of classes. Such leave shall be effective no later than the close of the school year or at such earlier time as mutually agreed between the employee and the school district.
