Upon reasonable cause when a duty to accommodate arises related to an employee and the employee does not provide the Company with satisfactory medical information when requested by the Company to do so, the Company may, at its cost, send the employee for a medical examination with a physician chosen by the Company. The employee will cooperate in having the medical examination done. The Company shall pay the employee’s regular wages for the time taken for the medical examination and for reasonable transportation as pre-approved by the Company. A copy of the medical report shall be provided to the employee and shall be kept confidential.
Upon reasonable cause if an employee fails to comply at any point during the Disability Management process, they shall be sent, by email, a non-compliance letter signed by the Facility Manager providing a minimum of ten (10) calendar days’ notice following the send date to comply with the information requested from Disability Management. The Company will have just cause to discharge the employment of employees who fail to comply with timelines stated above.
