Common use of USE OF ANNUAL LEAVE WHEN PERMANENTLY INCAPACITATED Clause in Contracts

USE OF ANNUAL LEAVE WHEN PERMANENTLY INCAPACITATED. Annual leave shall not be used to continue the hourly rate of pay/salary of any employee after it has been determined by the County's Employee Health Services physician that such employee is permanently incapacitated for a return to County employment and is eligible for retirement. Annual leave credits may be utilized by such employee until such a determination has been made and appropriate action has been taken by the Ventura County Retirement Board.
