USE OF ANNUAL LEAVE WHEN PERMANENTLY INCAPACITATED. Annual leave shall not be used to continue the pay/salary of any employee after it has been determined by the County's Employee Health Services physician that such employee is permanently incapacitated for a return to County employment and is eligible for retirement. Annual leave credits may be utilized by such employee until such a determination has been made and appropriate action has been taken by the Ventura County Retirement Board.
