Use of Grant Proceeds. The Grant Recipient shall use the Grant solely to reimburse itself for expenditures it has already made, or will make, in the performance of the following activities: (Check all appropriate boxes.) The Public Entity shall use the LRIP Grant solely to reimburse itself for expenditures it has already made, or will make, to pay the costs of one of the following applicable activities: (i) preliminary, final construction and engineering and administration (ii) constructing or reconstructing city streets, county highways, or town roads with statewide or regional significance that have not been fully funded through other state, federal, or local funding sources; or (iii) capital improvement projects on county state-aid highways that are intended primarily to reduce traffic crashes, deaths, injuries, and property damage. The Public Entity shall not use the LRIP Grant for any other purpose, including but not limited to, any work to be done on a state trunk highway or within a trunk highway easement.

Use of Grant Proceeds. The Grant will be used by Grantee solely to fund the costs of the Project. Grantee shall apply the Grant proceeds to the costs and expenses described in the budget included in the Summary attached hereto as Exhibit A (the “Budget”). Grantee shall be permitted to make minor adjustments to the expenditures identified in the Budget without requiring the Xxxx and Xxxxxx Xxxxxxx Foundation’s prior consent if the adjustment: (a) is consistent with the purpose of the Grant as set forth in the Application and Summary; and (b) does not result in a change of more than five (5%) percent in any specific line item within the Budget. Any other expenditures that would require a modification to the Budget shall require the advance written authorization of the Xxxx and Xxxxxx Xxxxxxx Foundation. Grantee shall immediately notify the Xxxx and Xxxxxx Xxxxxxx Foundation of its inability to expend the Grant for the purposes described in this Agreement.

The Public Entity shall use the SRTS Grant solely to reimburse itself for expenditures it has already made, or will make, to pay the costs of one of the following applicable activities: (i) acquisition of land or permanent easements, (ii) predesign, design, preliminary and final engineering and environmental studies authorized under Xxxx. Stat. Sec. 174.40, subdiv. 1b, or (iii) construction and reconstruction of publicly owned infrastructure in this state with a useful life of at least 10 years that provides nonmotorized transportation to and from a school.

Use of Grant Proceeds. The Public Entity shall use the LBRP Grant solely to reimburse itself for expenditures it has already made, or will make, to pay the costs of one or more of the following activities: (i) constructing or reconstructing a bridge, (ii) preliminary engineering and environmental studies authorized under Minn. Stat. Sec. 174.50, subdiv. 6a, (iii) abandoning an existing bridge that is deficient and in need of replacement, but where no replacement will be made, or (iv) constructing a road to facilitate the abandonment or removal of an existing bridge determined to be deficient. The Public Entity shall not use the LBRP Grant for any other purpose, including but not limited to, any work to be done on a state trunk highway or within a trunk highway easement.
