Use of Grant. 4.1 The Grant shall be used by the Recipient for the delivery of the Project in accordance with the agreed budget set out in Schedule 3. For the avoidance of doubt, the amount of the Grant that the Recipient may spend on any item of expenditure listed in column 1 of Schedule 3 shall not exceed the corresponding sum of money listed in column 2 without the prior written agreement of the Funder. 4.2 Where the Recipient has obtained funding from a third party in relation to its delivery of the Project (including without limitation funding for associated administration and staffing costs), the amount of such funding shall be included in the budget in Schedule 3 together with a clear description of what that funding shall be used for. 4.3 The Recipient shall not use the Grant to: (a) make any payment to members of its Governing Body; (b) purchase buildings or land; or (c) pay for any expenditure commitments of the Recipient entered into before the Commencement Date, unless this has been approved in writing by the Funder. 4.4 The Recipient shall not spend any part of the Grant on the delivery of the Project after the Grant Period. 4.5 Should any part of the Grant remain unspent at the end of the Grant Period, the Recipient shall ensure that any unspent monies are returned to the Funder or, if agreed in writing by the Funder, shall be entitled to retain the unspent monies to use for charitable purposes as agreed between the parties. 4.6 Any liabilities arising at the end of the Project including any redundancy liabilities for staff employed by the Recipient to deliver the Project must be managed and paid for by the Recipient using the Grant or other resources of the Recipient. There will be no additional funding available from the Funder for this purpose.

There will be no additional funding available from the Catapult for this purpose.

There will be no additional funding available from the Funder for this purpose.
Use of Grant. 1The Grant shall be used by the Recipient to meet the costs of the delivery of the Project, in order to achieve the Project Aims in accordance with the budget set out in the Request for Research Proposal attached at Schedule 1.
Use of Grant. (a) The Funding shall be used by the Recipient for the delivery of the Project in accordance with the agreed budget set out in the Bid. For the avoidance of doubt, the amount of the Funding that a Party may spend on any item of expenditure shall not exceed the corresponding sum of money listed in its Adherence Agreement without the prior written agreement of Selnet after consultation with the Strategic Management Board. (b) Where a Party has obtained funding from a third party in relation to its delivery of the Project (including without limitation funding for associated administration and staffing costs), the amount of such funding shall be included in the Adherence Agreement for that Party together with a clear description of what that funding shall be used for. (c) No Party shall use the Funding to: (i) make any payment to members of its Governing Body; (ii) purchase buildings or land; (iii) pay for any expenditure commitments of the Party entered into before the Commencement Date; or (iv) pay for, subsidise or promote any activity other than those required as Inputs for the Project and directly associated costs unless this has been approved in writing by Selnet after consultation with the Strategic Management Board. (d) No Party shall spend any part of the Funding on the delivery of the Project after the Project Period unless this has been approved in writing by Selnet after consultation with the Strategic Management Board. (e) Should any part of the Funding remain unspent at the end of the Project Period, each Party shall so far as it is able shall ensure that any unspent monies are returned to Selnet to be dealt with as determined by the terms of the Funding. (f) Any liabilities arising at the end of the Project including any redundancy liabilities for staff employed by a Party to deliver the Project must be managed and paid for by the relevant Party using the other resources of the Party. There will be no additional funding available from Selnet for this purpose and the Funding may not be used for this purpose. (g) Each Party shall act in accordance with all guidance and rules relating to equality, diversity, sustainability or other objectives relating to the application of Funding as promulgated from time to time.
Use of Grant. The Recipient shall use the Grant Award solely for the purposes and in the manner described in Exhibit A - Statement of Work and Project Timeline (the "Project"). Adjustments to Proposed Project Timelines may be requested in writing to the Committee and recommended to the Board of Kittitas County Commissioners. These recommendations may be granted or denied at the discretion of the Board of Kittitas County Commissioners.

Where the Recipient has obtained funding from a third party in relation to its delivery of the Project (including without limitation funding for associated administration and staffing costs), the amount of such funding shall be included in the Grant Budget together with a clear description of what that funding shall be used for. 4.3. The Recipient shall not use the Grant to: 4.3.1. make any payment to members of its Governing Body; 4.3.2. make any payment in any way in relation to any of the Ineligible expenditure; or 4.3.3. pay for any expenditure commitments of the Recipient entered into before the Commencement Date, unless this has been approved in writing by the Funder. 4.4. The Recipient shall not spend any part of the Grant on the delivery of the Project after the Grant Period. 4.5. The Recipient shall not enter into any contracts or permit any payments to third parties funded in whole or part by the Grant unless those contracts or payments are made in accordance with the prevailing procurement regime in effect in the UK, as well as any minimum requirements set by the Funder. Guidance will be provided separately and annexed to the Grant Agreement. 4.6. Should any part of the Grant remain unspent at the end of the Grant Period (end March, 2026), the Recipient shall ensure that any unspent monies are returned to the Funder/the funding will not be allocated to the Recipient or, if agreed in writing by the Funder, the Recipient shall be entitled to retain the unspent monies/transferred unspent monies to use for purposes as agreed between the parties. 4.7. Any liabilities arising at the end of the Project including any redundancy liabilities for staff employed by the Recipient to deliver the Project must be managed and paid for by the Recipient using the Grant or other resources of the Recipient. There will be no additional funding available from the Funder for this purpose.

Use of Grant. Funds Grantee agrees that grant funds will be used in accordance with the terms of this Grant Award Contract. Awarded grant funds shall be used solely for eligible purposes as approved by the Board. Line item funding is considered estimates of costs; however, the total project costs are considered exact and shall not be exceeded by the Grantee unless this Grant Award Contract is amended in a Grant Award Contract Amendment. Substandard performance by Grantee of its obligations under this Grant Award Contract as determined by the Board will constitute noncompliance with this Grant Award Contract. Any deviation or failure to comply with the purpose and/or conditions of this Grant Award Contract by Grantee without prior written approval of the Board may constitute sufficient reason for the Board to terminate this Grant Award Contract, revoke the grant, require the return of all unspent funds, perform an audit of expended funds, and require the return of any previously spent funds that are determined by the Board to have been spent in violation of the purpose or conditions of this Grant Award Contract.

Accounts and records The Grant shall be shown in the Recipient's accounts as a restricted fund and shall not be included under general funds. The Recipient shall keep separate, accurate and up-to-date accounts and records of the receipt and expenditure of the Grant monies received by it. The Recipient shall keep all invoices, receipts, and accounts and any other relevant documents relating to the expenditure of the Grant for a period of at least six years following receipt of any Grant monies to which they relate. RSSB shall have the right to review, at RSSB's reasonable request, the Recipient's accounts and records that relate to the expenditure of the Grant and shall have the right to take copies of such accounts and records. The Recipient shall provide RSSB with a copy of its annual accounts within six months (or such lesser period as RSSB may reasonably require) of the end of the relevant financial year in respect of each year in which the Grant is paid.
