Use of Paid Vacation. Except as otherwise provided in this Article, paid vacation shall be granted no later than the fiscal year immediately following the fiscal year in which it is earned.

Use of Paid Vacation. ‌‌ 2 Should an employee's period of illness extend so that the employee's accumulated sick 3 leave is all used, the employee may use any vacation pay that may be due the employee under 4 the vacation provisions of this Agreement.
