Use of Patrol Cars. If an Electronic Technician is required to drive a marked Patrol car or cruiser during the performance of the employee’s duties, the employee will not be required to make law enforcement stops, but will be required to notify the nearest Post of an incident requiring Patrol attention. When marked Patrol cars are used by Electronic Technicians, such automobiles will display “In-Transit” signs.
