Utility Verification. A. The Contractor shall contact Miss-Dig for verification of the location of all underground utilities in the area of the work and the Contractor shall not commence digging until all underground utilities have been marked. The Contractor shall be responsible for all damage resulting from neglect or failure to comply with this requirement and/or for all damages to marked underground utilities.
Utility Verification. GHD will investigate and locate overhead and subsurface utilities within the roadway right-of- way and areas reasonably affected by the Project. Subsurface utilities will be located in accordance with the American Society of Civil Engineers Standard Guideline for the Collection and Depiction of Existing Subsurface Utility Data (CI/ASCE 38-02), Quality Level C. Based on field investigation, GHD will provide the County a list of utility companies whose utilities are likely to be within the Project limits or reasonably affected by the Project. Using a sample letter provided by the County, GHD will prepare a utility mapping request. Overhead and subsurface utilities will be depicted on the plan sheets developed under Task 2.5 35% PS&E.
Utility Verification. 1. As required by law, coordinate Sunshine 811 and utility locates consisting of additional calls to each locator to expedite the field marking of each subsurface utility.
