UTILIZATION OF PTO AS SICK LEAVE. The Employer may require reasonable proof of illness or disability and/or certification of need to be absent if the Employer has a reasonable doubt as to the validity of the claim. If the Employer requests physician or practitioner certification, then the Employer is responsible for the full cost of such certification if it is not covered by the Employer’s health plan or the Employee is not covered by the Employer’s health plan.
