Vacation Allowance for Separated Employees. (1) An eligible employee separating from City service for any reason who has unused vacation time shall be paid for such vacation time up to the effective date of the last day of employment with the City. Payment for unused vacation shall be made at the final rate of pay. Payment for the unused vacation hours shall be paid post separation date at no later than the second regularly scheduled pay period pay date following separation. Prior to separation from City service, the City does not provide to employees any vacation cash out or sell back for accrued but unused vacation hours.
