Use of Furlough Hours. All furlough leave shall be scheduled in advance with the employee’s supervisor. All Furlough must be scheduled and used prior to the date of separation in accordance to City’s leave policies.

Use of Furlough Hours. 1. Furlough time must be used in full day increments. A “day” is equivalent to eight (8) hours for forty (40) hour per week employees and seven and one-half (7.5) hours for thirty-seven and one-half (37.5) hour per week employees.

Employees will be required to take a maximum of four (4) unpaid furlough days each quarter (i.e., four (4) furlough days beginning upon ratification of this agreement through September 2020 and four (4) furlough days beginning October 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020). 3. Employees may use up to three (3) unpaid furlough days in any month except December, subject to the Port’s business needs. December furlough days will normally be limited to one (1) – any additional furlough days must be scheduled in advance with the employee’s supervisor. 4. Taking an unpaid furlough day before or after a holiday will not disqualify the employee for holiday pay. 5. Unpaid furlough days are to be scheduled in the same manner as vacation is scheduled and employees must receive supervisory approval before taking a furlough day. In the event an employee fails to schedule their required furlough days, their supervisor will identify and schedule the unpaid furlough days for the employee.

  • Use of Services Subject to the terms of this Agreement, Stripe grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, royalty-free license during the Term to access the Documentation, and access and use the Stripe Technology, as long as your access and use is (a) solely as necessary to use the Services; (b) solely for your business purposes; and (c) in compliance with this Agreement and the Documentation.

  • Use of websites (a) The Guarantor may satisfy its obligation to deliver any public information to the Lenders by posting this information onto an electronic website designated by the Guarantor and the Administrative Agent (the “Designated Website”) by notifying the Administrative Agent (i) of the address of the website together with any relevant password specifications and (ii) that such information has been posted on the website; provided, that in any event the Guarantor shall supply the Administrative Agent with one copy in paper form of any information which is posted onto the website. (b) The Administrative Agent shall supply each Lender with the address of and any relevant password specifications for the Designated Website following designation of that website by the Guarantor and the Administrative Agent. (c) The Guarantor shall promptly upon becoming aware of its occurrence notify the Administrative Agent if: (i) the Designated Website cannot be accessed due to technical failure; (ii) the password specifications for the Designated Website change; (iii) any new information which is required to be provided under this Guaranty is posted onto the Designated Website; (iv) any existing information which has been provided under this Guaranty and posted onto the Designated Website is amended; or (v) the Guarantor becomes aware that the Designated Website or any information posted onto the Designated Website is or has been infected by any electronic virus or similar software. If the Guarantor notifies the Administrative Agent under Section 8.3(c)(i) or Section 8.3(c)(v) above, all information to be provided by the Guarantor under this Guaranty after the date of that notice shall be supplied in paper form unless and until the Administrative Agent is satisfied that the circumstances giving rise to the notification are no longer continuing.

  • Use of Vacation 23.2.2.1 Academic staff members may use vacation at times approved by the Xxxx which shall not interfere with the operation of the College. Except under unusual circumstances, members shall not be permitted to use vacation during a period of time when they are engaged in the instructional process, including the supervision and grading of exams. Notwithstanding the aforementioned provision, a member may use the maximum entitlement at any one time. 23.2.2.2 Upon written request to the Xxxx, an academic staff member may carry over unused vacation entitlement earned in one academic year to the next academic year, provided it will not interfere with the operation of the unit. All carried over vacation must then be used in the year into which it is carried over. 23.2.2.3 Academic staff members must use vacation (four, five or six weeks, or pro-rata) yearly according to the provisions of this clause, and no arrangements may be made for payment in lieu, during the course of employment. With confirmation of the Xxxx, where all vacation credits were not used in advance of termination, the balance will be paid to the academic staff member. The maximum amount of payout shall be limited to the current year’s entitlement.
