Vacation Scheduling/Approvals. Up to two (2) employees will be allowed to schedule vacation time during Winter Control Season (as defined in Article 15.01). Application for and approving of the use of banked overtime will also be in accordance with this Article. Vacation periods will be administered twice per year covering two periods. The first period will be for the months of May 01 through to October 31. The deadline for requests in this period will be March 01. Requests will be administered by the employer by April 01. The second period will be for the months of November 01 through to April 30. The deadline for requests for this period will be September 01. Requests will be administered by the employer by October 01. Approvals for vacation requests will be based on operational requirements. Any conflict with vacation choices that arise shall be decided on the basis of seniority to the deadlines established as above. Requests which cannot be approved will be placed on a waiting list and will be given future consideration based on seniority. After the respective deadlines above, vacation approvals shall be decided in favour of the employee first requesting the vacation period over which there may be a conflict. Any requests made after the deadlines above} shall be responded to within fourteen (14) days of the request being made. Christmas/New Year Vacation Electricians and Mechanics will each be allowed to have at least one (1) person off during the Christmas/New Year Vacation.

  • Vacation Scheduling (a) With the exception of authorized vacation carryover under Clause 18.6, the scheduling and completion of vacations shall be on a calendar-year basis.

  • Seller’s Approval Buyer must obtain Seller’s approval, in writing, to any change to the letter described in Section IV(c) regarding the financial institution, type of financing, or allocation of closing costs; and

  • Project Approvals Borrower will obtain in the ordinary course of business all Project Approvals not heretofore obtained by Borrower (being those listed and described on Part XII of the Project Schedules attached hereto as Exhibit A and any other Project Approvals which may hereafter become required or necessary) and will furnish Agent with evidence that Borrower has obtained such Project Approvals promptly upon its request. Borrower will give all such notices to, and take all such other actions with respect to, such Governmental Authority as may be required under applicable Requirements to construct the Improvements and to use, occupy, operate, and sell Units following the completion of the construction of the Improvements. Borrower will also obtain in the ordinary course of business all utility installations and connections required for the operation and servicing of the Projects for its intended purposes, and will furnish Agent with evidence thereof. Borrower will duly perform and comply with all of the terms and conditions of all Project Approvals obtained at any time, including all Project Approvals listed and described in Parts XII and XIII of the Project Schedules attached hereto as Exhibit A.

  • Scheduling Vacation Vacation shall be as scheduled by the College. Employees shall be entitled to at least three (3) consecutive weeks of vacation, unless otherwise agreed. Employees shall indicate their preference, if any, as to vacation dates no later than March 1 of the current vacation year for the next vacation year (July 1 to June 30). The College shall confirm or deny, in writing, such vacation requests by March 15. The College may, however, schedule vacations at any time and will consider requests by employees, including requests for vacation in the months of May through August, consistent with the College staffing requirements. Employee requests for vacation will not be unreasonably denied. Where in scheduling vacations in accordance with the foregoing, conflicts arise amongst employees as to their choice of vacation times, consideration shall be given to the respective length of service of such employees and staffing requirements in the final determination of vacation schedules, providing they have indicated a vacation preference prior to March 1 in the current vacation year. Vacation requests received after March 1 will be confirmed or denied, in writing, within two (2) weeks of receipt of same. If an employee is given in-patient treatment in a hospital during one (1) or more full days of the employee's vacation, those days may, at the request of the employee, be rescheduled during the vacation year, at a time convenient to the College.

  • Vacation Schedule 1. Vacation periods shall be fixed by the Employer to suit the requirements of his business, but as far as possible and practicable, vacations will be given during the summer months, and for employees with school-age children, during the school vacations. Vacation periods shall be unbroken unless by mutual consent between Employer and employee, or where it is impractical. Grievances relating to this Section shall be subject to the Adjustment and Arbitration Procedure in this Agreement.

  • PTO Scheduling a. By November 15 of each year, the Company will post on appropriate bulletin boards a schedule showing the PTO days, which are available to each employee for the upcoming year.
